Gas-tight Syringe 30ml

Non disposable excellent chemical resistant Gas-tight syringes are one of the most widely used items by laboratories (science and medical) and laboratory equipment. Syringes are ideal for dispensing both liquids and gases. They have a precision-machined PTFE plunger tip which creates a leak-free seal. With the tight fit, the tip essentially wipes the interior of the syringe barrel free of sample. This feature is particularly useful with heterogeneous samples as it reduces the chance that a deposit will occur and cause the plunger to freeze.

Specification:

All syringes are manufactured in from high-quality 3.3 borosilicate glass. Borosilicate glass is heat and shock resistant, which ultimately protects against breakage from shock and sudden or extreme fluctuations in temperature. This type of glass provides a product with maximum chemical resistance and ultra-low expansion glass to furnish superior precision and calibration. Additionally, all polytetraflouroethylene (PTFE) and metal parts of the syringes are designed and manufactured using state-of-the-art computer-controlled milling and lathing machines and specialized glass-shrinking equipment.


SINGLE USE (syringes)

Plastic Disposable syringes are manufactured from a chemical compound called Polypropylene, (abbreviated PP). Polypropyleneresistance qualities have been measured against the oxidative effect of ozone and is classed a Grade C resistant material (Fair). Grade C plastics are not recommend for continuous use .

Plastic syringes manufactured for multiple use should have the correct material qualities of polycarbonate and a platinum cured silicon plunger.
